ANCORE, the fitness equipment company behind the award-winning portable cable machine the ANCORE Pro, will be hitting the ice this upcoming NHL season. The company’s flagship product, the ANCORE Pro, is now league-mandated in every visitor locker room. Meaning that all 32 NHL teams are required by a league rule to have ANCORE products in their arenas for the players to train with. The deal was made in response to a groundswell of support amongst the clubs’ strength and conditioning coaches, many of whom were ANCORE’s first customers and supporters.
For Canadian and ANCORE co-founder Isaac Lewis, this deal means realizing both a personal and business dream. “Growing up watching and playing hockey, you hope to one day be a part of the NHL in any capacity,” said Lewis. “To have that become a reality and then for our product to also be an accessible training option for the fans and aspiring players watching at home is unique. What’s better than training with the same gear as the pros?”
ANCORE’s products will be available in visitor locker rooms across the league by the start of training camp for the upcoming 2022-23 season. The company is excited to support the training and performance of the world’s best hockey players for many seasons to come.
